About this role
Solventum seeks a Power Platform & AI Automation Engineer for a hybrid role in Bangalore, India. The role delivers Microsoft 365 automation and approved AI-enabled solutions, including Copilot Studio agents, while supporting production platforms and governance needs.
Responsibilities
- Lead assigned automation backlog items from development through delivery using Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio and PowerShell, following established architecture, governance and application lifecycle management guidance.
- Implement Copilot Studio agents and AI-enabled automation under organizational security, governance and lifecycle standards.
- Investigate automation failures, performance issues and incidents; work with the Architect on remediation and escalate systemic issues. Support production workloads and maintain documentation, runbooks and knowledge-base articles.
- Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports on automation health, platform usage and adoption, and governance and audit metrics.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher and six years of IT experience delivering automation or application solutions.
- Three years building Power Platform solutions, including Power Apps canvas and model-driven applications, resilient Power Automate flows, Dataverse and Copilot Studio; three years of PowerShell scripting for Microsoft 365 automation and administration, including Graph API.
- Two years of hands-on Microsoft 365 administration involving Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams and SharePoint Online; one year building AI-enabled or agent-based solutions, such as Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry or LLM-based automation.
- Experience supporting production platforms and automation workloads, including incident response and root cause analysis.
Additional qualifications:
- Microsoft certifications such as PL-400, AB-620, PL-200, MS-102 or AI-102; experience governing agents, knowledge sources, custom actions, connectors, prompt design and responsible AI.
- Experience with regulated or compliance-driven environments, Power Platform governance, DLP policies, environment strategy, app and flow lifecycle management, and Dataverse security roles. Strong debugging, written communication, backlog-driven delivery and effective use of AI-assisted development tools are also valued.
