Engineering Manager - GenAI studios

Lead the GenAI studios engineering team in Bengaluru, developing an AI-native product that helps professional creators direct and produce production-grade AI-generated content. The product emphasizes automated evaluations and validations. The team builds AI-powered creator experiences using machine learning and multimedia pipelines, from prototypes to scalable platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the engineering team and deliver features for AI content production.
• Partner with Product and Data Science to define and execute the technical roadmap. Design backend systems that scale across multiple frontier models.
• Improve observability, performance, cost efficiency and resilience. Set team goals, plan execution and track progress while fostering data-driven decisions and rapid experimentation.
• Work with developers, program managers and technical support teams in an agile environment to estimate and deliver shared objectives.

Qualifications

• Full-stack expertise, including Python and JavaScript frameworks such as React or Next.js; hands-on architecture or distributed-systems experience.
• Experience with high-scale databases, including MySQL and NoSQL technologies such as Cassandra, Redis or DynamoDB; Google Cloud production applications; and CI/CD processes.
• A record of delivering large cross-functional projects, recruiting and developing engineering talent, using AI tools in daily work, and communicating complex technical information clearly.

Preferred education and experience: A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field, with 8+ years of software development experience and 3 years managing software development teams.
