As a Data Engineering Manager at Electrolux Group, you will lead a team of builders, serving as both a people manager and a technical authority. Your mission is to accelerate the professional growth of your engineers while steering the team toward building state-of-the-art AI and data solutions that drive revenue. You will be responsible for maintaining technical excellence and business acumen within a high-performing organization. Key responsibilities include coaching and mentoring data engineers, performing hands-on technical leadership through code reviews and architectural guidance, and partnering with business stakeholders to translate goals into technical roadmaps. You will define KPIs, manage OKRs, and oversee the development of scalable, modern data architectures such as Data Mesh and Medallion to enable advanced AI and agentic flows. Additionally, you will own the reliability, security, and cost-efficiency of the data platform. The tech stack includes Azure Databricks, Python, PySpark, dbt, Azure Data Factory, Apache Airflow, and GitHub for CI/CD. Required qualifications include solid, progressive experience in Data Engineering, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or management role, a proven track record as a hands-on builder in cloud-based data environments (preferably Azure Databricks), demonstrated success in developing engineering talent, and the ability to bridge the gap between technical implementation and C-suite business strategy. This position is based at the Global Competence Center (GCC) in Bangalore, India.
