Claude Platform AI Security Architect

The Claude Platform AI Security Architect oversees governance, security and compliance for an Anthropic Claude Platform Managed Services engagement in Bangalore, India. The role administers controls against customer-defined security, data-residency and compliance requirements and represents the service provider in governance forums.

Responsibilities

• Implement and administer policy controls, usage controls and financial guardrails. Process exceptions and policy changes while supporting the Guardrail & Policy Change Implementation Service Level (SL-8) target.
• Support the biweekly AI Review Board and monthly AI Security governance forum. Present the provider’s security posture and guardrail compliance evidence, and maintain audit-ready control records.
• Provide L1.5 security-trained support for incidents and service requests with security or compliance implications. Escalate security-related L3 matters to Anthropic and/or the customer’s CISO or Security & Compliance team as needed.
• Work with AI Architects on secure tenant onboarding and API gateway, SSO and SOC/SIEM integrations. Liaise with the customer’s security team to operationalize applicable standards, and support consulting-track security and governance advisory requests, including roadmap advice for large engagements.

Required qualifications

• 8–12 years of experience in security or compliance architecture, including AI/data governance. A BA/BS degree and 8–12 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, is specified.
• Claude Certified Architect – Foundations (CCA-F) certification, or a commitment to obtain it within an agreed timeframe after joining.
• Experience implementing and governing managed-platform guardrails and controls; knowledge of data-residency, privacy and compliance frameworks for enterprise AI; ability to represent a provider in formal governance forums and produce audit-ready evidence; and experience providing security-trained tier-1.5 incident support. Experience with AI/GenAI platforms or enterprise SaaS is ideal.

Preferred qualifications

CISSP, CCSP or equivalent certification; experience with Claude or comparable enterprise LLM/GenAI platforms; familiarity with ServiceNow/ITSM guardrail and policy-change workflows; and experience in regulated or data-sensitive industries such as real estate or financial services.
