Associate Architect - Machine Learning

Quantiphi is seeking an Associate Architect - Machine Learning to join their team. This role focuses on designing and implementing end-to-end cloud-based machine learning solutions on AWS. Responsibilities include developing applications using LLMs, fine-tuning models, and architecting RAG systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, scalable AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement cloud ML solutions using AWS services like SageMaker and Lambda.
• Develop and fine-tune Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI models, specifically LLama2.
• Build and maintain RAG architectures using vector indexing tools like Opensearch and Elasticsearch.
• Perform prompt engineering and optimize model performance through hyperparameter tuning and evaluation.
• Design software architecture and manage model training, deployment, and retraining workflows using tools like Airflow, StepFunctions, or Kubeflow.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and project managers to ensure high-quality, user-friendly AI integrations.

Required Qualifications

• 7-13 years of professional experience, with at least 8 years of relevant hands-on technical experience in cloud ML solutions on AWS.
• Proficiency in AWS Machine Learning services, including SageMaker for training, inference, and processing jobs.
• Strong experience with LLM frameworks (LangChain, AWS Bedrock, OpenAI) and NLP techniques.
• Deep understanding of Deep Learning concepts, including Transformers, BERT, and Attention models.
• Ability to design software architecture and work with workflow orchestration tools.
• Knowledge of various machine learning techniques (supervised/unsupervised, clustering, neural networks).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within the Edtech domain.
• Additional software development experience.
