AI / ML Engineer

Accenture is hiring an AI / ML Engineer for its Bengaluru office to lead the design, development and deployment of autonomous AI agents and goal-driven workflows. The role develops production-ready AI applications and systems using AI tools and cloud AI services, with cloud or on-premises application pipelines. Solutions may incorporate generative AI models, deep learning, neural networks, chatbots or image processing.

Responsibilities

• Architect autonomous decision-making workflows using large language models, memory modules and tool-use frameworks; develop and optimize collaborative multi-agent systems.
• Integrate agentic capabilities into enterprise applications and services with cross-functional teams, including workflows built with Microsoft Copilot Studio.
• Evaluate agents against task success, latency, adaptability and cost efficiency. Apply responsible AI practices, including observability, compliance and ethical guardrails.

Requirements and skills:

• The posting lists 5–10 years of experience and states a minimum of 5 years overall. It separately specifies a minimum of 7.5 years in AI Agents & Workflow Integration, at least 4 years of hands-on generative AI experience, at least 1 year building or managing agentic workflows, and at least 1 year integrating agentic workflows with Microsoft Copilot Studio.
• A strong foundation in generative AI and hands-on experience with multi-agent orchestration, autonomous task execution and goal-driven workflows are sought. Proficiency in Python and understanding of prompt engineering, embeddings and context management are required.
• Relevant frameworks and tools include LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI, Semantic Kernel, AutoGPT, LangGraph, Hugging Face, OpenAI APIs, Docker and REST APIs. Generative AI is also listed as a good-to-have skill.
• Fifteen years of full-time education are required. This is a full-time position based at the Bengaluru office.
