01

Understand the role

What matters most

  • Production-Grade Multi-Agent Architecture

The core mandate is to design and scale platforms for Lumen, Agent Studio, and Invorto. You must prioritize building robust, reliable, and secure orchestration layers that manage agent communication, memory, and tool use, ensuring these systems perform consistently in enterprise environments.

  • Technical Strategy for RAG and Knowledge Grounding

You are responsible for defining the technical approach for retrieval-augmented generation and vector search. This requires selecting appropriate vector databases and retrieval strategies that balance accuracy, latency, and cost for diverse business use cases.

  • Customer-Facing Technical Leadership

As this is a customer-facing role, you must bridge the gap between complex AI architecture and business requirements. You need to communicate technical trade-offs effectively to stakeholders and ensure the platform's design directly addresses real-world operational needs.

  • Hands-on Engineering and Code Quality

Despite the architectural focus, the role requires a hands-on approach. You must maintain technical credibility by prototyping solutions, reviewing code, and solving complex implementation challenges alongside engineering teams.

Likely challenges to think through

  • Balancing Latency, Cost, and Reliability

Scaling agentic AI often involves trade-offs between model complexity and system performance. Prepare to discuss how you optimize for low-latency responses in production while managing the high costs associated with LLM inference and maintaining system reliability.

  • Managing Rapid Evolution in AI Frameworks

The LLM and agentic AI landscape changes quickly. The challenge lies in building an architecture that is flexible enough to integrate new models or techniques without requiring a complete system overhaul. Prepare to explain your methodology for evaluating and adopting new technologies.

  • Translating Abstract Requirements into Concrete Systems

Working with customers to define requirements for AI agents can be ambiguous. You will face the challenge of distilling high-level business goals into specific technical constraints for memory, reasoning, and tool-use pipelines.
