About this role
Accenture seeks an Associate Manager to build agentic AI solutions for payroll operations in Mumbai or Bangalore. The role combines hands-on engineering, solution design and mentoring, with a focus on integrating production-ready AI into enterprise workflows rather than conducting AI research.
Responsibilities
- Design LLM-driven, multi-step workflows that combine reasoning, tools and data; make outputs reliable, accurate and scalable.
- Integrate AI solutions with internal systems through REST APIs, including authentication and data exchange, and work with structured and unstructured data from multiple sources.
- Collaborate with payroll subject-matter experts to turn operational problems into scalable AI and API architectures. Deliver solutions that reduce manual effort, not just prototypes.
- Mentor payroll professionals moving into AI engineering through guidance, code reviews and best practices. Develop reusable components, maintainable documentation, error handling, logging and scalable design patterns.
Requirements

Candidates need strong Python development, hands-on REST API and system-integration experience, familiarity with authentication such as OAuth and tokens, and experience building LLM solutions with OpenAI, Azure OpenAI or similar tools.
