AI ML / AI RPA Intern

AiVantage seeks an AI ML / AI RPA Intern in Ahmedabad for a full-time role combining Python web automation, backend development and AI-powered solutions. The listing header states 0–1 years of experience, while the detailed requirements state 0–2 years in software development, automation, RPA, AI or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Python web automation using Playwright or similar frameworks, and build backend applications and REST APIs with FastAPI and/or Django.
• Develop solutions using LLMs, generative AI, NLP, OCR and document processing; integrate AI services and third-party APIs into backend and automation workflows.
• Automate business processes involving data extraction, file transfers and report processing. Handle dynamic web elements, authentication, cookies, sessions and complex login flows.
• Integrate databases and cloud services; schedule, monitor, troubleshoot and optimize automation jobs. Write reusable code, maintain documentation, and contribute to testing, debugging, deployment and production support with AI, frontend, QA and DevOps teams.

Requirements

• Strong Python proficiency; experience with Playwright, Selenium or similar frameworks; basic FastAPI or Django experience; and understanding of REST APIs, HTTP, JSON, HTML, browser automation and web scraping.
• Basic SQL and relational database knowledge; familiarity with API integrations; Git experience; and strong analytical, debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Strong AI and machine learning fundamentals, with understanding of LLMs, generative AI, prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings, vector databases, NLP and transformer architecture. Familiarity with models such as GPT, Gemini, Claude and Llama, and the ability to experiment with and evaluate AI/LLM models.

Preferred

Experience with OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Gemini or other LLM APIs; knowledge of LangChain, LlamaIndex or AI agents; and experience with Django REST Framework or PostgreSQL.
