  • Stay close to delivery

The role remains hands-on in architecture, solution design and strategic projects, alongside its senior leadership responsibilities.

Likely challenges to think through

  • Balance the roadmap with near-term delivery

A likely trade-off is protecting a coherent future-state architecture while strategic projects need practical decisions now. Prepare an example of phased architecture decisions, including what was delivered immediately and what was deferred.

  • Reduce duplication without disrupting data use

Modernisation may require weighing consolidation and reuse against existing integrations and data flows; this is a preparation hypothesis, not a stated CBRE problem. Prepare to explain how you would assess dependencies, sequence changes and maintain governance.

  • Make AI foundations production-ready

The stated mix of AI-ready data, generative AI and secure, cost-efficient platforms suggests a possible tension between experimentation and reliable operation. Prepare to discuss how data quality, governance, MLOps and cost considerations shape an AI solution design.
