The AI Process Transformation Consultant develops analysis and future-state process designs that help clients identify opportunities for AI-enabled transformation. The role includes specifying how AI agents operate within redesigned processes, what they handle autonomously and when they hand work to a person. Responsibilities
- Assess industry or functional trends and forces, benchmark clients against peers, and identify reinvention opportunities.
- Design future-state process specifications covering AI integration, operating model changes, human-machine interaction and workforce adoption. Analyze processes and support delivery of digital and platform solutions across operations.
- Use AI tools, including agents and AI-assisted analysis and visualization, to build analytical frameworks, benchmarking outputs and change-impact assessments.
- Apply AX Design principles to agent behavior, autonomy and handoffs. Improve domain-specific designs and functional playbooks, contribute to the reference library and maintain domain expertise.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. At least 3 years in process excellence, process redesign or management consulting; experience producing trend analyses, benchmarking outputs or change-impact assessments; and the ability to turn data into structured recommendations.
- At least 1 year using AI-assisted analytics, visualization or benchmarking tools, and at least 1 year integrating AI and automation into business process design.
