About this role
Join Omnissa’s AI Platform Team to build foundational AI capabilities for a digital work platform that manages millions of devices across multiple operating systems. The Staff Machine Learning Engineer will own initiatives end to end, developing production ML systems for predictive analytics, personalization, automation, and intelligent platform behavior in a cloud-scale environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy models for classification, prediction, anomaly detection, and intelligent automation. Build scalable pipelines for training, evaluation, and real-time or batch inference.
- Improve model and pipeline performance, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency. Experiment and evaluate with quantitative metrics and A/B testing as needed; implement observability, monitoring, and drift detection.
- Partner with engineering and product teams to integrate ML into platform features, promote strong ML engineering practices, and apply relevant advances in AI and LLM technology.
Requirements
- 5+ years in machine learning engineering or data science. Strong Python proficiency and experience with ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Scikit-learn.
- Experience operating batch or streaming data workflows and using AWS, Azure, or GCP. Understanding of ML algorithms, statistics, and model evaluation; familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Hands-on LLM experience, including fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and deployment, plus knowledge of text embeddings and vector databases for RAG systems. Strong problem-solving, adaptability, and collaboration in Agile teams.
Preferred
Experience with Spark or Ray; LangChain or LangGraph for AI agents and multi-agent systems; feature stores or vector databases; real-time inference and model monitoring; and scalable ML services using REST or gRPC. A bachelor’s degree is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
