About this role
Lucid Software seeks a Product Manager, AI to lead AI platform capabilities and evaluations from strategy through launch. The role sits on an innovation and new-product-discovery team working on Collaborative AI products, agentic workflows, canvas-native generative features, visual-first experiences, and the technical platform supporting them. Lucid is a hybrid workplace; remote and office arrangements depend on the needs of the role and team.
Responsibilities
- Partner with product teams to identify, prototype, test, and de-risk AI capabilities, using experiments and iterative learning to validate customer value.
- Improve AI product development, evaluation strategy, and experimentation practices to support fast, well-informed decisions.
- Track developments in AI, agentic systems, and developer tooling, and incorporate promising approaches into product strategy where they benefit customers.
- Develop an understanding of how customers collaborate and solve problems visually, translating those insights into natural, useful, and trustworthy AI experiences.
- Own AI platform capabilities and evaluations, collaborating with Engineering, Design, Data Science, and Product to build scalable foundations for AI innovation.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of product management experience building successful B2B SaaS products, including leading complex, cross-functional initiatives from concept through launch.
- Experience bringing agentic AI products and capabilities to market amid changing customer needs, models, and technology.
- Understanding of agent architectures, tool use, retrieval-augmented generation, AI evaluations, and quality, latency, reliability, and cost tradeoffs.
- Strong product judgment, prioritization, stakeholder influence, and partnerships across Engineering, Design, Data Science, Product, and Go-to-Market teams.
Preferred
Experience leading innovation or new-product-discovery teams, including rapid AI iteration and de-risking non-deterministic features; experience with visual collaboration, spatial computing, or digital whiteboarding; and experience mentoring product managers on AI product lifecycle practices.
