About this role
NVIDIA seeks a Senior Solutions Architect to advise customers building generative AI and large language model solutions. The role focuses on AI inference projects and proofs of concept, customer adoption of NVIDIA technology and MLOps solutions, and analysis of inference software performance.
Responsibilities
- Partner with solutions architects and engineering, product, and business teams to understand technical needs and define solutions.
- Work with developers, researchers, data scientists, lighthouse customers, and industry-specific partners on solutions using NVIDIA’s computing platform.
- Help customers build and adopt solutions, and analyze the performance and power efficiency of AI inference workloads on Kubernetes.
- Travel to customers or conferences may be required up to 20%.
Required qualifications
- BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, another engineering discipline, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow. Strong programming, optimization, and software-design fundamentals, especially in Python.
- Ability to troubleshoot GPU orchestration and Multi-Instance GPU management in Kubernetes; experience with containerization, orchestration, monitoring, and observability for AI deployments.
- Knowledge of LLM and deep learning inference, plus presentation, communication, and collaboration skills.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience training deep learning models at scale or deploying or optimizing inference in production; experience with NVIDIA GPUs, NVIDIA NIM, Dynamo, TensorRT, or TensorRT-LLM.
- C/C++ programming, debugging, profiling, code optimization, performance analysis, and test design; familiarity with parallel programming and distributed computing.
The posting lists Santa Clara and remote locations in New York, Illinois, California, and Massachusetts. Base salary is 184,000–287,500 USD, determined by location, experience, and comparable employee pay; the role is also eligible for equity and benefits.
