The AI & Innovation Manager at Integrated DNA Technologies (IDT), a Danaher operating company, turns AI strategy into scalable, well-governed solutions that improve operations and support data-driven decisions. The role sits in the Information Technology Division, reports to the Director of Data, Innovation & AI, and is fully remote in the USA, with travel to business users of up to 25%.
Responsibilities
- Translate the AI and innovation vision into initiatives by identifying opportunities, dependencies and sequencing.
- Lead end-to-end implementation of AI platforms, standards and governance, driving adoption and consistent responsible AI practices.
- Prioritize and deliver high-impact AI and advanced analytics use cases from experimentation through production and adoption. Work with business and technology stakeholders to embed AI in processes, decisions and products.
- Direct day-to-day work of AI and analytics teams, oversee technical quality, mentor practitioners and build AI literacy. Evaluate emerging tools for scalability, performance and business impact.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related quantitative discipline; 10+ years in AI, data science, advanced analytics or related technology roles with increasing responsibility.
- Demonstrated end-to-end delivery of AI or analytics solutions with measurable business impact; knowledge of machine learning, data modeling and emerging AI and generative AI capabilities.
- Ability to lead technical work and collaborate across functions while meeting governance, security and responsible AI requirements. Ability to travel up to 25%.
Preferred qualifications include an advanced degree; experience piloting or implementing generative AI, LLMs or automation tools as production-ready solutions; exposure to regulated or quality-driven industries and compliance or audit requirements; and enterprise AI governance, model risk management or responsible AI framework experience.
The annual salary range is $140K–$170K, with bonus or incentive eligibility. Benefits for eligible employees include paid time off, medical, dental and vision insurance, and a 401(k).
