AI & Data Architect

RRA Capital is hiring its first AI & Data Architect to design and build the data and AI foundation for its real estate credit investment and operations teams. The role has direct access to leadership and substantial autonomy, with little existing stack to inherit.

Responsibilities

• Map where firm data lives, what it means and how it moves across Microsoft 365, HubSpot, underwriting files, loan documents, emails and market research.
• Architect and build a trusted, unified knowledge layer with enterprise search, data governance and secure permissions connecting core systems.
• Develop toward AI copilots for investment and operations teams and, eventually, an agent-first operating model. The stated 24-month goals include enterprise search across firm knowledge, deployed copilots and a meaningful reduction in manual workflows.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with a modern data platform such as Microsoft Fabric, Databricks or Snowflake, and with cloud AI services such as Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI and Azure AI Search, or AWS/GCP equivalents.
• Experience shipping production-grade systems and building agentic AI systems with multi-step workflows that take actions, using frameworks such as LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, OpenAI or Anthropic agent SDKs, or equivalents.
• Understanding of enterprise data governance, identity management and permissions, plus the ability to work independently without a large engineering team. The posting does not specify a minimum number of years; strong demonstrated work is valued, including from candidates earlier in their careers.

Financial services experience is preferred but not required. Curiosity about how real estate credit deals are evaluated, structured and closed is valued. Phoenix-based candidates are strongly preferred; exceptional candidates in New York City will be considered. Compensation is not quantified.
