Cloud Infrastructure & AI Engineer

Capgemini seeks a Cloud Infrastructure & AI Engineer to design and manage scalable cloud infrastructure that supports AI/ML platforms and solutions. The posted locations are New York City, NY; Chicago, IL; and Atlanta, GA.

Responsibilities

• Design secure, highly available infrastructure on Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform and build Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, ARM, Bicep, or CloudFormation.
• Develop cloud-native architectures for AI/ML workloads; deploy and monitor AI platforms, data pipelines, and machine learning infrastructure. Partner with AI/ML engineers, data scientists, and application teams to provide AI-ready environments.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, manage Docker and Kubernetes environments, and establish monitoring and observability using tools such as Azure Monitor, Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, or Splunk.
• Address cloud security, governance, compliance, cost optimization, disaster recovery, backups, and business continuity. Evaluate emerging cloud and AI technologies.

Required qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, and at least 7 years of experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or platform engineering.
• Strong experience with a major cloud provider; hands-on Infrastructure as Code, Kubernetes, CI/CD tooling, Linux administration, and scripting with PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Experience supporting AI/ML infrastructure and cloud-based AI services; understanding of networking, security, identity management, and cloud governance. Knowledge of Azure AI Services, Azure Machine Learning, AWS SageMaker, Vertex AI, and OpenAI or generative AI solutions is listed among the required skills.

Compensation and benefits: The posted base compensation range is $100,000–$130,000. The role may be eligible for additional incentives, bonuses, or commissions.
