About this role
The AI Enablement Product Owner partners with business and technology teams to move AI and agentic use cases from problem framing through production release and adoption. The role is based in Charlotte, NC or Irving, TX, with a hybrid working arrangement. The posting specifies 8–12 years of experience.
Responsibilities
- Identify business problems and suitable AI, LLM, RAG or agentic solution patterns; manage use-case intake, feasibility assessment, prioritization and roadmap alignment.
- Own the product backlog, including epics, user stories, functional and non-functional acceptance criteria, and release objectives.
- Coordinate data, model, platform, security, risk and engineering stakeholders. Support model selection, prompt strategy, RAG design, evaluations and human-in-the-loop controls.
- Define business, model-quality, operational, adoption and value-realization KPIs. Address responsible AI, security, compliance and model-risk requirements, then drive user acceptance, release readiness, adoption planning and post-release outcome tracking.
Required skills include product management and Agile backlog ownership; business problem framing and prioritization; understanding of LLMs, RAG, agentic AI, model selection and evaluation; acceptance-criteria development; responsible AI and governance controls; product analytics and business-value measurement; executive communication; stakeholder facilitation; and experience with multidisciplinary AI engineering teams.
Preferred qualifications include a bachelor's or master's degree in technology, business, data science or a related field; Product Owner, Scrum, SAFe or product-management certification; and experience delivering enterprise AI solutions in a regulated environment.
