The AI Product Manager at Hyundai Capital America owns execution of roadmap priorities and delivery for assigned AI products and use cases. The role turns business needs into requirements and delivery plans, with a focus on measurable outcomes, adoption, and safe, compliant operation. Products may include GenAI, agents, and ML-driven solutions in a financing business.
Responsibilities
- Manage the product lifecycle, including product requirements documents, user stories, prioritized backlogs, sprints, releases, stakeholder demonstrations, and rollout readiness. Support AI product vision, identify high-value use cases, and contribute to multi-quarter roadmaps with milestones, dependencies, and success measures.
- Work with architects to define solution scope, including RAG patterns, agents, and model selection. Set guardrails, evaluation metrics, and release criteria; track task success, grounded response rates, adoption, and operational effectiveness. Improve performance through telemetry, feedback, and experimentation.
- Partner with engineering, data, UX, business, governance, legal, security, compliance, and risk teams. Manage go-to-market activities, user enablement, training, communications, and change management. Apply privacy and Responsible AI requirements, including fairness, explainability, auditability, governance reviews, and release gates.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5–7 years of progressive product management experience focused on enterprise software, data products, or platforms; experience with AI/ML, GenAI, or advanced analytics products; and a bachelor’s degree.
- Ability to deliver complex cross-functional enterprise products; experience with PRDs, backlogs, OKRs, KPIs, and Agile delivery. Hands-on familiarity with LLMs, RAG, prompt systems, or agents; familiarity with model evaluation, deployment, and monitoring; experience in regulated environments; and exposure to Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, or Vertex AI. An MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus.
The Irvine-based role is full-time and hybrid, with four days in the office and one remote day. The posted salary range is $100,000.00–$155,000.00.
