About this role
JPI seeks an Agentic AI Developer for its Applications and Integrations team within Digital & IT in Dallas, TX. The role develops practical AI agents, applications, RPA solutions and enterprise integrations to improve business processes, with a particular focus on AI security, guardrails, monitoring and responsible governance.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, test and maintain agentic applications and AI-powered automations. Implement security controls, policy-based guardrails, access boundaries and monitoring; evaluate prompts and agent behavior for reliability, accuracy and compliance. Troubleshoot and improve deployed agents using performance data, user feedback and changing requirements.
- Develop secure integrations using Workato, Python, Oracle Cloud, REST APIs and related technologies. Document APIs, integration workflows and agent configurations, and improve system scalability, reliability, security and performance.
- Translate business needs into technical specifications; develop and enhance applications under architectural, secure-coding and AI-governance standards. Participate in testing, validation, deployment, Agile ceremonies and peer code reviews.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, UI developers, architects and integration engineers. Support adoption through training, documentation and knowledge sharing.
Required qualifications
3+ years of professional software development experience; 1+ year each in agentic AI development, implementing AI security controls and safety practices, and working with RAG and vector stores or databases. The posting also requires 1+ years with Python, Node.js and/or React; 1+ years with cloud platforms or iPaaS tools; and 1+ years integrating REST APIs. Candidates need a strong understanding of integration patterns and architecture, problem-solving ability, a collaborative approach and comfort with Agile work.
Preferred qualifications
Experience with LangGraph, MCP, RPA or Agent Harness and with Workato; familiarity with Workday, BuildingConnected, Procore, Airtable, Oracle Primavera Cloud, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Fabric, Power Platform or Azure; and experience with SQL databases and GitLab.
