About this role
ActiveProspect seeks a hands-on AI Transformation & Change Manager to lead practical AI adoption across non-technical functions and turn enterprise AI strategy into measurable business outcomes. The role owns initiatives from opportunity identification through implementation, employee adoption and ROI measurement, rather than serving solely as an adviser. It reports to the VP of IT and Business Systems and is based in Austin, TX.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the CFO and the Vice President of Business Systems, Compliance and IT on enterprise AI strategy. Build a sequenced roadmap with owners, milestones and success measures; lead the AI Strategy Team; assess emerging capabilities; and manage the AI tooling budget against realized value.
- Work with Finance, Accounting, Legal, HR, Revenue Operations, Customer Support, Implementations, Customer Success and Sales to identify AI-enabled improvements. Facilitate workshops, evaluate processes and data availability, prioritize use cases by value, effort, risk and adoption potential, and develop business cases.
- Design and deliver solutions with functional leaders, Business Systems, IT, Compliance and vendors. Document requirements, redesign workflows, coordinate pilots and testing, resolve rollout issues, and create reusable playbooks. Monitor performance and refine solutions after launch.
- Develop change-management plans and build AI fluency through training, coaching, demonstrations, office hours, communications, prompt libraries and implementation guides. Support team AI champions and address resistance to new workflows.
- Align stakeholders and embed policy, regulatory, privacy, security and responsible AI requirements, including documentation, human review and monitoring. Establish baselines, measure adoption and outcomes, create executive dashboards, conduct post-implementation reviews and track cumulative ROI.
Qualifications and success measures:
- Key competencies include hands-on ownership, strategic thinking, operational discipline, process redesign, change leadership, stakeholder management, facilitation, data-driven decision-making and sound risk judgment. No specific years of experience or education requirement are stated.
- Preferred: formal change-management certification or experience with Prosci, ADKAR or an equivalent framework; experience in a high-growth SaaS or private-equity-backed environment and comfort working without established processes.
- Success is measured by deployed solutions, sustained adoption, improved efficiency, capacity, quality and costs, stronger AI fluency, roadmap delivery, appropriate controls and documented value by function.
