VP/AVP, Lead AI Engineer, Group Infrastructure & Cloud, Group Technology

DBS Bank seeks a Lead AI Engineer in Group Infrastructure & Cloud to lead the development of AI solutions for its networking infrastructure. Responsibilities

• Lead a team designing, developing and deploying scalable AI applications for networking. Architect end-to-end Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) workflows, AI agents and other network-focused systems for efficiency, robustness and scalability.
• Work with networking stakeholders to define initiatives, translate strategic goals into technical requirements and align solutions with business objectives. Mentor AI engineers and guide complex projects.
• Establish practices for model evaluation, optimization and monitoring. Ensure solutions meet performance standards, risk-management guidelines and regulatory requirements for network operations.
• Investigate emerging agentic AI technologies and recommend advances to the AI roadmap. Lead troubleshooting and deliver high-quality, well-documented solutions.

Requirements

• A proven record of developing and deploying scalable AI applications, including designing and implementing agentic AI systems, with a strong Python foundation. No specific number of years or education requirement is stated.
• Advanced proficiency with AI frameworks and hands-on experience in LLM orchestration, vector databases, prompt engineering and AI-agent frameworks; demonstrated expertise using RAG to enhance LLMs.
• Experience leading technical teams and mentoring engineers; knowledge of DevOps and MLOps practices, including CI/CD for model deployment, monitoring and management. Proficiency developing across Unix and Windows, plus strong analytical, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
