About this role
AI Singapore seeks an AI Engineer to support its partnership with the SAF AI Centre (SAIC). The role focuses on developing AI capabilities across the SAF workforce through training, technical mentorship, real-world projects and preparation for AI engineer certification.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver AI courses and programmes, including playbooks for operational users and awareness of common SAF AI use cases.
- Mentor engineering teams through sprints or individual sessions, and gather feedback on knowledge sharing and technical problem-solving impact.
- Identify real-world AI projects that deepen software engineering and machine learning pipeline skills for certification readiness.
- Assist a Senior AI Engineer in developing and maintaining a job-skills-proficiency map and executing the AI engineer certification programme.
Qualifications
- A degree in computer science, engineering or data science, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 1 year of experience in software engineering, ML engineering or applied AI, including deploying models into production.
The position is based at Kent Ridge Campus, Singapore.
