Technical Specialist AI

LANXESS India Private Limited is seeking a Technical Specialist AI to build LLM-powered applications, agentic systems, RAG pipelines and generative AI features. The role calls for strong software engineering fundamentals and attention to reliability, observability and maintainability.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and deploy generative AI applications and agent workflows using Python, LangChain and LangGraph.
• Develop RAG systems covering embedding generation, retrieval strategies and evaluation loops.
• Integrate vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, Azure AI Search, Chroma and FAISS for semantic search and knowledge storage.
• Maintain observability for agentic systems through logging, tracing, monitoring and behavior-inspection dashboards.

Requirements

• BE or B.Tech in Computer Science or IT, with 5 to 10 years of work experience.
• Skills in Python, object-oriented programming, agentic AI, agent memory, prompt engineering, embeddings, vector search, RAG, vector databases, knowledge graphs and agentic frameworks.
• Knowledge of design patterns, the software development lifecycle, CI/CD, API development, authentication and authorization, and generative AI platforms including Langfuse, LiteLLM and Databricks.
