Norstella is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to build and deploy ML and LLM systems for its market access arm, MMIT. The role focuses on transforming US payer and coverage data into predictive analytics and agentic workflows to support commercial and market access teams. Responsibilities include designing and deploying production-grade ML/LLM models, fine-tuning LLMs, implementing retrieval augmentation, and building agentic workflows using Model Context Protocol (MCP). You will manage the full lifecycle of models, including data pipeline development, evaluation harness creation, and MLOps implementation for monitoring and drift detection. The role requires collaboration with data scientists, engineers, and subject matter experts to ensure models meet GxP and regulatory standards. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s or graduate degree in a STEM field and at least 3 years of professional experience in ML engineering with a focus on production deployment. Strong Python programming skills and experience with the AWS ecosystem (SageMaker, Lambda) are required. Experience with US market access data (payer coverage, formulary status, NDCs, HCPCS) is highly preferred. This is a remote position based in India with shift timings from 4 PM to 1 AM IST.
