About this role
The Director, AI Architect leads the global design and governance of Teleperformance’s AI architecture under the TP.ai FAB framework. This leadership role is responsible for defining technical direction, integration standards, and scalable architecture patterns for AI platforms across the enterprise. The Director bridges AI Engineering, Data Science, Product, and Security teams to drive architectural excellence, reusability, and compliance. Responsibilities include defining the end-to-end AI architecture blueprint, overseeing AI microservices and API integration, and establishing guardrails for security and Responsible AI. The role involves partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure production-ready solutions, evaluating emerging technologies like LLMs and multimodal architectures, and guiding a distributed team of Solution Architects and Senior AI Engineers. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, or Software Engineering, with 12+ years of experience in software or AI engineering, including at least 5 years in architectural or leadership roles. Candidates must have a proven track record in large-scale AI/ML production systems, expertise in cloud AI platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), and deep knowledge of MLOps, orchestration, and vector database architectures. Strong communication skills and experience with compliance frameworks like SOC2 and GDPR are required. Postgraduate studies or cloud certifications are highly desirable.
