Alignerr is seeking a Back End Developer (AI Infrastructure) to design, build, and optimize server-side systems and APIs that power AI products. This role focuses on creating data pipelines, model-serving infrastructure, and scalable microservices to support AI training and inference workloads. Responsibilities include developing robust back end services, integrating with databases and cloud services, optimizing system performance, and collaborating with distributed teams. Candidates should be proficient in languages such as Python, Go, Java, Node.js, or Rust, and possess a strong understanding of microservices, distributed systems, and cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure. Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines is required. Preferred qualifications include experience building infrastructure for machine learning or AI systems, familiarity with data processing frameworks (Kafka, Spark, Airflow), and knowledge of high-throughput systems or serverless architectures. This is a fully remote, flexible hourly contract position requiring 10-40 hours per week, offering the opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI infrastructure with a global network of engineers.
