About this role
The Technical Engineer AI and Automation (Power Platform Engineer) is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing business applications, workflow automations, and data-driven solutions using Microsoft Power Platform technologies. This role supports digital transformation by streamlining processes, improving operational efficiency, and enabling scalable low-code/no-code solutions. The engineer collaborates with business stakeholders, IT teams, and automation/AI teams to integrate enterprise systems and ensure secure, reliable, and user-friendly applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain business applications using Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven).
- Optimize automated workflows using Power Automate.
- Create interactive dashboards and data visualizations using Power BI.
- Integrate solutions with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, Dynamics 365, Azure, and SQL databases via APIs.
- Configure Dataverse environments, security roles, and business rules.
- Ensure adherence to security, governance, and compliance standards.
- Support ALM, version control, and environment strategy.
- Monitor performance and implement enhancements for scalability and reliability.
- Stay updated on new features, AI capabilities, and Copilot innovations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, IT, AI, Software Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
- Professional experience ranging from 0–1 years for entry-level to 6+ years for advanced levels.
- Strong technical expertise in Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Microsoft Dataverse.
- Experience integrating Power Platform with SharePoint, Teams, Dynamics 365, SQL, and Azure.
- Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, TypeScript, Power Fx, DAX, Power Query, JSON, and CI/CD pipelines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AI Builder, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), or Azure AI services is considered an advantage.
