NVIDIA is seeking a Senior System Software Engineer to join the DirectX Graphics software team. This role focuses on developing DirectX Driver software for NVIDIA GPUs, impacting gaming, graphics, and accelerated computing. A key objective is to improve and automate engineering workflows using AI agents.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain DirectX Graphics Drivers for NVIDIA GPUs, focusing on single-GPU system architectures.
- Create new OS and chip graphics features for upcoming architectures.
- Drive quality improvement initiatives for gaming experiences.
- Advance AI-based post-processing features and graphics algorithms.
- Develop software stacks to integrate AI into graphics.
- Build and deploy agent-based automation solutions for debugging, testing, triage, and code analysis to boost developer efficiency.
Requirements
- B.E./B.Tech or higher in Computer Science/Engineering with relevant project or thesis work.
- 5+ years of experience in system software, device drivers, embedded software, graphics applications, or engineering automation.
- Strong C/C++ programming skills.
- Deep understanding of computer graphics, computer architecture, OS fundamentals, algorithms, and machine learning.
- Familiarity with building or deploying AI agents and AI-assisted developer tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of 3D graphics concepts and DirectX or OpenGL.
- Experience with OS kernels and device drivers.
- Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and mathematical concepts.
- Practical experience with LLMs, retrieval systems, and AI-supported software engineering tools.
