About this role
The Technologies R&D department at Dassault Systèmes is seeking a Geometry Reconstruction AI Engineer to join the team responsible for Continuous/Exact Shape representation and editing. This role focuses on enhancing the 3D Geometry & Specification Reconstruction portfolio using AI-driven mathematical and geometric engines that underpin generative workflows in 3D design, physics simulation, and visualization. Responsibilities include designing and improving AI models and agents for generative experiences, leveraging production feedback to optimize performance and safety, and developing synthetic data generation pipelines. You will manage the full AI lifecycle from specification and model selection to training, fine-tuning, and evaluation. Additionally, you will contribute to the evolution of Enterprise AI and Agentic Frameworks and ensure high-quality delivery through automated testing. Qualifications include a Master's or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Scientific Computing, or related fields. Candidates must possess strong knowledge in computational or differential geometry, numerical analysis, and optimization, alongside experience with CAD/CAM/CAE software. Proficiency in Deep Learning, Generative AI, LLMs, and Agentic architectures is required, with strong programming skills in C++ and Python. The role requires 6-7 years of professional experience, including 1-3 years in software development (OOPs, Data Structures, Algorithms) and 1-5 years in developing AI/ML solutions for CAD/CAM/CAE domains. You will work in a global, multi-site R&D environment requiring strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
