Insurity is seeking a Data Scientist to join their Predict team in Noida, India. This role focuses on building and maintaining predictive models to support underwriting, claims, and audit use cases within the Property & Casualty insurance sector, specifically for Workers' Compensation and Commercial Auto. Responsibilities include developing predictive models using GLM and machine learning techniques, performing feature engineering, analyzing structured and unstructured datasets, and integrating third-party data. The Data Scientist will collaborate with product and engineering teams to deploy models into production using AWS tools like SageMaker and EC2, while also documenting modeling decisions and monitoring performance. Requirements include 1-3 years of experience in data science or predictive modeling, proficiency in Python and relevant libraries, and a strong understanding of ML algorithms. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field is required. Preferred qualifications include experience in the insurance or financial services industry, familiarity with version control (Git), agile practices, and working knowledge of R. This is a hybrid role requiring attendance at the Noida office at least two days a week.
