About this role
Join the FRS Transformation team at BNP Paribas India Solutions in Mumbai to develop and maintain AI-related software for projects involving teams in Paris, APAC, North America and the UK. The role combines junior software development with AI component development and offers exposure to financial and credit risk topics and BNP Paribas information systems.
Responsibilities
- Build, test and improve AI components under guidance; integrate tools such as large language models and APIs.
- Write clean, maintainable code, implement features, maintain existing software, and identify and resolve bugs.
- Perform unit and integration testing to support reliability and performance. Deliver feature implementations, test cases, documentation and performance improvements.
- Contribute to technical specifications and user manuals, and support team and department goals.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience and a bachelor's degree in engineering, B-Tech, MCA or equivalent.
- Python, Oracle PL/SQL, SQL basics, API integration, Agile working methods, and unit, integration and acceptance testing. The role also calls for prompt tuning and experimentation.
- Collaboration, adaptability, results orientation and active listening.
Additional understanding of AI is described as an advantage. This is a permanent, full-time position in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
