Deloitte’s Finance AI team seeks an Analytics and Insights Engineer II to combine finance expertise with hands-on AI capabilities. The role connects finance and data and technology teams to improve automation, predictive analytics, planning, reporting and decision support. The position is available in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune and Chennai.
Responsibilities
- Translate finance and business requirements into conceptual, logical and technical AI-enabled designs. Collaborate with finance stakeholders, business analysts, data architects and technology teams to deliver scalable, production-ready solutions.
- Design, develop and deploy AI and machine learning solutions for anomaly detection, cash flow prediction, forecasting and expense classification. Develop generative AI, natural language processing, prompt-library, retrieval-augmented generation and multi-agent solutions for finance planning, reporting, audit and decision support.
- Build and maintain data pipelines and API-based integrations across cloud and data platforms. Support AI governance, model risk and explainability practices, and guide team members on AI tools, agentic AI and prompt engineering.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Finance or a related field.
- 3+ years building AI or machine learning solutions in enterprise environments and 3+ years supporting finance processes such as financial planning and analysis, controllership, commercial finance, reporting or forecasting.
- Experience with Python, SQL and libraries such as Pandas or NumPy; generative AI, agent-based, natural language processing or retrieval-augmented generation solutions; and data integration using platforms such as AWS, Databricks, Snowflake, Azure or Google Cloud Platform. Ability to turn business requirements into technical designs and production-ready implementations.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with FastAPI, Node.js or ReactJS; LangChain, LangGraph or vector database tools; AWS Bedrock, SageMaker, Amazon EC2 or API Gateway; data modeling; or Agile delivery.
