Accenture seeks a Life Sciences Data Science Consultant at team lead/consultant level for healthcare and life sciences analytics projects. The posting lists 5–10 years of experience and gives Bangalore/Gurgaon as the location; the job listing also identifies Gurugram.

Responsibilities

• Advise global clients using data-driven recommendations, manage client communications, and present findings and project progress to stakeholders.
• Design and implement generative AI, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), agentic AI, and traditional AI and machine learning solutions for healthcare and life sciences business challenges.
• Deliver consulting projects independently or with small to medium-sized teams, contributing to strategy, implementation, process design, and change management. Collaborate across data engineering, data science, and business intelligence.
• Apply life sciences domain expertise, design thinking, and business process optimization to develop analytics solutions. Contribute methodologies, research, points of view, proposals, and business development materials; help assess operating models, implementation readiness, and transformational change plans.

Qualifications and tools:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or another quantitative field. The posting requests extensive generative AI expertise and a record of creating and deploying generative and agentic AI solutions, plus 4+ years delivering Life Sciences, Pharma, or Healthcare projects.
• Knowledge of commercial, clinical, real-world evidence, and electronic medical record data; experience with relevant datasets such as Komodo, RAVE, IQVIA, Truven, or Optum. Hands-on statistical and machine learning modeling experience includes segmentation, prediction, hypothesis testing, multivariate analysis, time series, and optimization.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL, experience handling large datasets, and experience with a cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for deploying and scaling language models. Strong analytical, problem-solving, writing, communication, and presentation skills are required.
• Good-to-have skills include R, Spark, Databricks, visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, QlikView, or Spotfire, and design thinking, process optimization, and stakeholder management.
