Associate Data Scientist, Machine Learning

Trinity Partners India LLP seeks an Associate Data Scientist, Machine Learning, for its Bangalore or Gurgaon location. The role focuses on researching and building business applications that integrate large language models (LLMs), in the context of Trinity’s life sciences commercialization work. The posting specifies 2–4 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Research business use cases for efficient LLM integration and work with cross-functional teams to implement LLMs in processes and applications.
• Stay current with AI, machine learning and NLP advances; experiment with emerging technologies and algorithms to solve complex problems.
• Evaluate machine learning and deep learning models, improve their accuracy and efficiency, and apply model optimization and hyperparameter-tuning practices.
• Investigate open-source models for tasks including summarization and sentiment detection. Create data pipelines and collaborate with data scientists, engineers, product managers and other stakeholders on AI initiatives.

Required skills and experience:

• Expertise in Python; machine learning and deep learning skills, including neural networks, RNNs, LSTMs and transformers.
• Understanding of NLP and transformer model architecture and operation, with knowledge of TensorFlow, Keras or PyTorch.
• Hands-on experience with generative models, including OpenAI or open-source models; LLM frameworks such as LangChain and LlamaIndex; and building LLM applications and solutions. Expertise in prompt engineering.

Preferred

Experience with LLM fine-tuning and Azure cloud computing.
