Salesforce seeks an AI/ML Technical Architect for its Customer Success organization in Hyderabad or Bangalore, India. The role combines long-term AI architecture strategy with hands-on delivery and coordination of AI and Agentforce solutions across teams. The title states that Salesforce experience is a must.
Responsibilities
- Define AI architecture strategy aligned with business and platform roadmaps; assess emerging LLMs, agentic frameworks and automation platforms for business value. Establish design standards and evaluate feasibility, technical risk and total cost of ownership.
- Partner with product, engineering and delivery leaders to translate goals into secure, scalable, maintainable architectures. Coordinate engineering, data, product and delivery teams; run architecture reviews and governance checkpoints; resolve dependencies across AI workstreams; and mentor technical teams and solution architects.
- Prototype, build and iterate on agents, automations and integrations, taking ideas through demos, MVPs and production readiness. Maintain technical quality and monitor scalability, reliability, cost efficiency and security. Ensure adherence to data governance, responsible AI and security standards, and provide technical escalation support.
Required qualifications
At least 10 years of software or solution architecture experience, with demonstrated depth in AI/ML or agentic systems architecture. Candidates must have delivered enterprise-scale AI solutions, such as LLM-based systems, automation platforms or Agentforce; understand cloud-native architecture, integration patterns and platform scalability; work strategically and hands-on across teams; and communicate effectively with technical and nontechnical stakeholders. The posting calls for using AI developer assistants such as Cursor, Claude and GitHub Copilot to accelerate Salesforce Field Service work involving Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, mobile applications and integrations while maintaining platform security, performance and best practices. Preferred qualifications
Salesforce Certified Technical Architect or equivalent certification; experience with AI governance or risk frameworks, mentoring architects and senior engineers, and complex multi-org or multi-cloud environments; hands-on deployment of AI agents; practical use of Gemini, Cursor or Claude; and familiarity with prompt engineering, LLM orchestration and agentic tool-use patterns.
