About this role
The AI/ML Technical Architect shapes the technical vision for AI adoption and turns it into production-ready, enterprise-scale solutions. The role focuses on designing, building, scaling and governing AI and Agentforce-driven architectures that support business outcomes and customer value. The posting lists India - Hyderabad and India - Bangalore, with an “Office - Flexible” arrangement.
Responsibilities
- Define AI architecture strategy, standards and design patterns aligned with business and platform roadmaps. Evaluate LLMs, agentic frameworks and automation platforms for value, feasibility, risk and total cost of ownership.
- Coordinate engineering, data, product and delivery teams; lead architecture reviews and governance checkpoints; resolve dependencies across AI workstreams; and mentor technical teams and solution architects.
- Prototype and deliver working AI agents, automations and integrations, moving concepts toward production while maintaining architectural soundness. Own technical quality and monitor scalability, reliability, cost-efficiency and security posture. Ensure adherence to data governance, responsible AI and security standards, and provide technical escalation support.
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of software or solution architecture experience, with depth in AI/ML or agentic systems architecture, and proven delivery of enterprise-scale AI solutions such as LLM-based systems, automation platforms or Agentforce.
- Strong knowledge of cloud-native architecture, integration patterns and platform scalability; ability to work strategically and hands-on across teams; and strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Salesforce platform architecture experience is highly valued.
- Practical fluency with AI coding assistants such as Cursor, Claude and GitHub Copilot to support Salesforce Field Service development, Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, mobile applications and integrations while maintaining platform security and performance.
Preferred qualifications include Salesforce Certified Technical Architect or equivalent certification; experience with AI governance or risk frameworks, mentoring, and complex multi-org or multi-cloud environments; hands-on deployment of AI agents; use of Gemini, Cursor or Claude for development; and familiarity with prompt engineering, LLM orchestration and agentic tool-use patterns.
