AI / ML Engineer

DigitalXNode seeks an AI / ML Engineer to build intelligent, data-driven solutions for its business operations and digital products. The role covers the machine learning development lifecycle, from translating business challenges into models through deployment and performance monitoring. The posting lists Pune and Mumbai as job locations, an onsite or hybrid work mode, full-time employment, and 1 to 4 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop machine learning and deep learning models for business use cases, and build data-processing pipelines for training, evaluation and deployment.
• Train, test, fine-tune and benchmark models; integrate AI capabilities into existing platforms and workflows with engineering, product and business teams.
• Work on computer vision, image analysis and natural language processing projects. Use statistical techniques and predictive analytics to derive insights from structured and unstructured data while maintaining data quality.
• Participate in technical planning, architecture discussions and design reviews. Document models and workflows, monitor deployed models for accuracy, efficiency and reliability, and support ongoing maintenance.

Required qualifications and skills:

• A degree in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, Machine Learning or a closely related technical discipline. Accepted qualifications are B.E., B.Tech, B.Sc. or M.Sc. from a recognized institution.
• Proficiency in Python and practical understanding of AI and machine learning; familiarity with neural networks, deep learning architectures, and frameworks such as TensorFlow or Keras.
• Working knowledge of computer vision, image processing and NLP; experience with OpenCV and pattern recognition; ability to apply predictive modeling and statistical analysis. Analytical problem-solving, attention to detail, communication and collaboration are also required. The posting additionally lists REST APIs and model validation under technology.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with model deployment, optimization and lifecycle management; large-scale datasets, AI workflow orchestration, validation and performance evaluation; or research-oriented AI development.
• Knowledge of text analytics, data mining or information extraction; awareness of cloud-based AI infrastructure; and experience in agile, cross-functional teams.
