AI Engineer

DHL IT Services seeks an AI Engineer for its Clearance team to identify practical AI applications that improve business and IT processes, increase engineering productivity, and shorten the time needed to deliver solutions. Responsibilities

• Understand operational challenges, evaluate business needs, and break complex problems into AI-enabled workflows with measurable outcomes.
• Choose appropriate models, architectures, and techniques for real-world use cases. Apply AI tools to improve efficiency and use context engineering to ground results so they are relevant and high quality.
• Design reliable, scalable, and secure AI solutions aligned with enterprise standards and governance requirements.
• Work independently, prioritize tasks under time and workload pressure, and collaborate with teams across regions.

Requirements and preferred experience:

• Python experience, prompt engineering, experience with generative AI models, and application of AI to use cases are required.
• Knowledge of AI workflow tools such as LangChain and Google ADK is a plus. Experience with context engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), Model Context Protocol (MCP), agent-based systems, and AI orchestration frameworks is highly desirable.
• Advanced spoken and written English is useful for cross-region collaboration. No minimum years of experience or education requirement is specified.
