AI Developer - Expression of Interest

MRI India seeks an experienced AI Developer and Team Lead to build and deploy AI/ML solutions for its PropTech platform. The role spans natural language processing, computer vision, structured data, and property and financial data analytics, with collaboration across global product, engineering, and cloud teams. Responsibilities

• Design LLM applications and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems; develop and deploy classification, regression, and clustering models.
• Build multimodal solutions combining text, vision, and tabular data. Lead Vision AI experiments involving OCR, layout analysis, and document intelligence.
• Architect Azure-based AI services using Kubernetes (AKS), serverless APIs, and MLOps practices; integrate solutions with MRI’s global platform.
• Mentor junior AI developers, participate in technical reviews, and contribute to AI research and development for internal patents and innovations.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of AI/ML development experience across NLP, vision, or machine learning.
• Expertise in LLMs, including OpenAI, Hugging Face, and Mistral, as well as LangChain and transformers. Proficiency in traditional ML pipelines, model optimization, and feature engineering.
• Strong Python, API development, and microservices skills; experience deploying AI models in cloud environments and using MLOps tools for versioning and deployment. Azure is preferred.
• Exposure to vector databases such as Pinecone and FAISS and to embeddings. Strong leadership, mentorship, and team collaboration skills.
