DevOps Engineer - MLOps/AI Engineer

DHL IT Services is seeking a DevOps Engineer - MLOps/AI Engineer for its AI & Analytics team in Indore. The team builds and runs machine learning, predictive modeling and data solutions for DHL’s global business. The role focuses on developing production AI solutions and helping turn large volumes of data into business value.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop solutions, contribute to Big Data architecture roadmaps, and mentor junior team members.
• Support end-to-end AI and machine learning work, from concept through deployment, including production integration of ML or LLM components.
• Work in an Agile/DevOps, product-oriented team with end-to-end responsibility for its solutions.

Requirements

• A university degree in a quantitative field, such as mathematics, statistics, computer science or engineering, or equivalent experience. Hands-on experience in data science, machine learning or AI engineering and a strong understanding of machine learning fundamentals are required; no minimum number of years is stated.
• Strong programming skills in Python, which is preferred, and solid SQL experience. Experience building backend services or data pipelines; familiarity with version control, testing, code reviews and CI/CD.
• Working knowledge of retrieval and RAG systems, agent orchestration and the AI/LLM ecosystem; experience with ML/AI frameworks such as PyTorch or scikit-learn, MLOps workflows, cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP, and distributed data environments.
• Familiarity with GitHub, Kubernetes, Kubeflow, Docker, GitHub Actions or Jenkins, Kibana or Grafrana, and Linux/Bash. Strong collaborative problem-solving and communication skills, the ability to explain technical decisions to varied audiences, awareness of Agile/Scrum, and fluent spoken and written English at C1 level.

Working arrangement and benefits: The role is full-time at 40 hours per week with hybrid work arrangements.
