Workplace AI- Associate Director

PepsiCo seeks a Workplace AI Associate Director in Hyderabad, India, to lead data science, AI and analytics capabilities for Predictive Ops and Insights. The role combines strategy, enterprise solution architecture and leadership of technical teams supporting global IT service management and workplace solutions.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the vision, strategy and roadmap for AI, data science and analytics across Predictive Ops and Insights.
• Lead the design and implementation of scalable, sustainable AI architectures, including agentic AI, and act as senior solution architect for cross-functional initiatives spanning platforms and domains.
• Advance predictive AI-based operations, including ServiceNow Now Assist, and develop descriptive analytics and insights from ServiceNow data.
• Oversee adoption and optimization of Azure Cloud, Azure ML Services, AWS and data architecture for global IT service management and workplace solutions.
• Lead and mentor data scientists, AI engineers and analysts. Work with business and technology stakeholders to turn business needs into actionable solutions.

Required qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in data science, artificial intelligence and analytics, including a proven record of designing and implementing enterprise-scale AI solutions.
• Python expertise and strong experience with Azure and AWS; understanding of agentic AI, LLMs, generative AI and MLOps best practices.
• Experience architecting end-to-end solutions for complex global organizations, leading technical teams, communicating effectively and influencing senior business and technology stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with ServiceNow IT Operations and expertise in IT service management.
• Vendor management experience evaluating, onboarding and collaborating with AI and analytics technology partners.
