The Core Engineering team at Goldman Sachs is seeking a Vice President (VP), Full-Stack Engineer to join their technology team in Hyderabad. This role involves bridging the gap between high-level business strategy and technical execution to build scalable, secure, and high-performance applications for the Compliance Engineering portfolio. The successful candidate will maintain a hands-on presence, actively writing code, designing systems, and mentoring engineers while driving engineering excellence across the SDLC. Experience in Generative AI, machine learning, and LLM integrations is expected to help build intelligent, AI-enabled engineering solutions. Key responsibilities include architecting robust microservices and APIs, evaluating emerging technologies, enforcing coding standards, and building ETL/ELT workflows using Spring Batch. The role requires deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and front-end frameworks like React or Angular, alongside solid Python development skills. Candidates must have 8+ years of progressive experience in full-stack engineering or architecture, with a strong track record of building enterprise-grade applications. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related quantitative field is required. Preferred skills include experience with event-driven architectures (Kafka/RabbitMQ), advanced SQL/NoSQL database management, and strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
