Solution Architect – Python with GenAI

EPAM Systems seeks a Solution Architect specializing in Python and Generative AI to design and deliver production-ready, enterprise GenAI applications. The role is hybrid in Bangalore, Hyderabad or Gurgaon, India.

Responsibilities

• Architect end-to-end GenAI systems using RAG, agents and multi-agent configurations. Develop reusable accelerators and reference implementations, and establish standards and evaluation methods for LLM applications.
• Lead technical discovery workshops, support engineering teams, mentor architecture colleagues and collaborate across teams to produce scalable, maintainable systems.
• Design microservices architectures; integrate AWS, Azure or GCP infrastructure; use Docker and Kubernetes; and select vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate or Chroma.
• Apply LLMOps and monitoring practices to production deployments, manage prompts, evaluate RAG systems and maintain production-ready Python code quality.

Requirements

• 9–14 years of software development experience, with a strong foundation in solution architecture and system design. Advanced Python development skills and experience delivering scalable, production-ready GenAI applications are required.
• Skills in microservices, architectural patterns, FastAPI, Redis, Elasticsearch and Kafka; experience with agents, MCP, RAG, Agentic RAG and GraphRAG; and familiarity with LangGraph, LangChain and related orchestration tools.
• Hands-on LLM and RAG evaluation and prompt management experience; cloud platform, containerization, vector database and LLMOps knowledge; engineering leadership and client-facing collaboration skills. Written and spoken English at B2 level or above is required.

Preferred

• Conventional machine learning experience, including feature engineering, model training and evaluation; knowledge graphs and fine-tuning; or previous consulting or client-facing experience.
