The Senior Machine Learning Engineer (Growth & ML) will join the Data & Audience Platform (DAP) organization at Warner Bros. Discovery in Hyderabad. This role focuses on building foundational AI/ML intelligence that powers identity, audience, advertising, and personalization across WBD brands. You will own the design and delivery of production ML systems, including probabilistic identity resolution, lookalike modeling, single-title affinity, and forecasting. Responsibilities include leading end-to-end development of ML systems, architecting scalable feature pipelines, and championing MLOps best practices. You will mentor team members, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and drive projects from problem framing to production deployment. Required qualifications include 5–8 years of industry experience in ML engineering or applied data science (3+ years with a Ph.D.), deep Python expertise, and production experience building ML at scale. Proficiency in Databricks (PySpark, Delta Lake, MLflow) and SQL/Snowflake is essential, along with experience in AWS ML services. Preferred qualifications include experience with recommendation systems, data clean rooms, agentic AI frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph), and two-tower retrieval architectures.
