Oracle Gen AI Developer - Senior Consultant , Technical Transformation

Deloitte’s Oracle Enterprise Solutions team seeks a Senior Consultant to architect AI and generative AI solutions using machine learning and Oracle technologies. The team works with clients to modernize core business environments and support digital transformation. Solutions may serve financial services, telecom and healthcare clients, as well as code-generation use cases.

Responsibilities

• Work with customers to understand requirements, envision and build solutions, and help their ML engineering teams remove blockers.
• Architect distributed, scalable, high-performance AI/ML solutions for deployment on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). Influence their design, implementation, rollout and operations.
• Design and implement agentic workflows using appropriate frameworks and prompt engineering to improve performance.
• Mentor and guide junior AI engineers.

Required qualifications

• Relevant functional experience, including 4+ years of AI/ML architect experience and a track record of designing, building and deploying scalable AI/ML solutions in production, with at least 1–2 implementations.
• Experience building on OCI, including Functions, Oracle Kubernetes Engine (OKE) and storage services.
• Strong understanding of prompt engineering, LLM APIs such as OpenAI and Cohere, and embeddings; deep expertise in LLMs, generative AI, agentic solutions, fine-tuning and model optimization.
• Proficiency in SQL, REST APIs and containerized development with Docker and Kubernetes; interest in continuous learning, prototyping and implementing new GenAI capabilities.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or an equivalent field.

Preferred

Ability to design AI-agent solutions with Oracle AI Agent Studio and set technical direction and standards.

The listed locations are Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Pune and Chennai. Shift timings depend on business requirements.
