EY is seeking an AI Engineer Manager to lead the design and delivery of agent-based AI solutions using Microsoft technologies. The role combines hands-on engineering, enterprise solution architecture and team leadership to advance AI-driven automation. The posting is based in Hyderabad, with other locations listed as anywhere in the country.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design and implementation using Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry and agent-based frameworks. Oversee intelligent agent development with Microsoft Agent Framework or Semantic Kernel using Python or C#.
- Identify AI use cases with stakeholders, translate business requirements into scalable architectures and reusable components, and integrate solutions into enterprise systems and workflows.
- Ensure performance, reliability, scalability and alignment with enterprise security, governance and architecture standards.
- Mentor and supervise team members, allocate personnel, assign tasks, manage resources and evaluate delivery and team performance.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of total experience, including at least 1 year of relevant experience in AI or agent-based solutions; prior client-facing consulting or enterprise delivery experience.
- Strong experience with Copilot Studio, AI agent development, Azure AI Foundry and AI/ML services; proficiency with Microsoft Agent Framework or Semantic Kernel in Python or C#. Understanding of agent architectures, orchestration and integration patterns is required.
- Technical leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills, including the ability to work across distributed onshore–offshore teams. A BE, B.Tech, MCA, MBA or equivalent degree with relevant industry experience is sought.
Preferred
Power Platform, Azure Integration Services, large transformation or digital modernization programs, testing tools, deployment and release management, experience across multiple industries or complex environments, and Microsoft AI certification.
