The Mgr, Forward Deployed Engineer at Johnson & Johnson's JJT India Capability Center in Hyderabad will lead the development and deployment of production-grade AI/ML, Generative AI, and Agentic AI solutions. This role operates at the intersection of business strategy, hands-on engineering, and solution architecture, translating complex healthcare and scientific needs into scalable, cloud-native technical solutions. Key responsibilities include designing reusable architecture patterns on AWS and GCP, implementing RAG and multi-agent orchestration frameworks, and ensuring all solutions meet rigorous security, compliance, and regulatory standards. The role requires providing technical leadership to global teams, driving MLOps and DevOps adoption, and establishing best practices for prompt engineering and AI governance. Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field and at least 10 years of experience in engineering, solution architecture, and cloud-native delivery. Preferred qualifications include experience in regulated domains such as clinical development, pharmaceutical R&D, or life sciences, along with relevant cloud certifications. The position emphasizes a forward-deployed mindset, requiring the ability to rapidly prototype, validate, and scale AI-enabled products while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders across the enterprise.
