Trida Labs is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to work directly with customers, translating business and technical requirements into working solutions using the company's AI-native products, including TridaPad and AgentSQL. This customer-facing role involves the full lifecycle of implementation, from discovery and data integration to configuration, testing, deployment, and production troubleshooting. You will act as the primary technical bridge between customers and internal engineering teams, ensuring that customer environments are successfully configured while escalating core product requirements rather than building custom forks. Responsibilities include: Customer Discovery & Solution Design: Understanding customer workflows and data environments to design practical solutions. Pre-Sales & Pilots: Supporting technical demonstrations, proofs of concept, and validating requirements. Product Implementation: Configuring data sources (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Snowflake, etc.) and integrating AI/analytics capabilities. AI & Analytics Implementation: Adapting prompts, context, and workflows, and validating AI-generated SQL and analytical outputs. Security & Integration: Managing security questionnaires, access controls, and MCP-based integrations. Evaluation & Validation: Building golden question sets to validate AI workflows and tracking regressions. Deployment & Troubleshooting: Supporting production releases and resolving complex integration or AI-related issues. Collaboration: Providing structured feedback to AI, Agent, and Platform engineering teams. Required Qualifications: 3–5 years of experience in software engineering, solutions engineering, data engineering, or technical consulting. Strong proficiency in Python and SQL. Experience with enterprise databases, APIs, and system integration. Familiarity with LLMs, Generative AI, and AI-powered applications. Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple customer engagements and travel as required. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with AI agents, tool calling, LangGraph, LangChain, LlamaIndex, or MCP. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Docker. Background in AI evaluation, observability, or production troubleshooting.
