About this role
Deloitte seeks a senior individual contributor to lead the value and viability of applied AI products within a product line. The Applied AI Product Manager guides cross-functional teams through moderately complex customer problems, from vision to execution, balancing user needs and business objectives. The role uses AI and agentic tools to accelerate research, analysis, prototyping and compliance work while retaining human judgment in product decisions.
Responsibilities
- Co-create, own and communicate product vision, strategy and roadmaps aligned with product-line and business goals. Define and measure KPIs, demonstrate return on investment, analyze outcomes and seek to reduce total cost of ownership.
- Conduct continuous user research, stakeholder engagement and competitive analysis. Use AI agents to synthesize evidence, identify opportunities and test assumptions while maintaining direct contact with users.
- Partner with business, engineering, experience and delivery colleagues to build empowered teams focused on outcomes. Remove obstacles, improve processes and share product practices.
- Use rapid, disposable AI-built prototypes to validate solutions and architecture, reject weak ideas early and support a path to production through an agentic secure software development life cycle.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in lean product management or related roles; 3+ years of enterprise-scale experience across multiple business areas; 1+ year building AI-based intelligent products; and 1+ year using GenAI tools for product-management work such as research, synthesis, roadmaps, requirements, prototyping and testing.
Preferred qualifications
- MBA or related advanced degree; substantial modern lean-product expertise and accountability for product value, viability and P&L objectives.
- Strong communication, leadership, customer-centricity, strategic thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills. Fluency in orchestrating AI agents with source and confidence guardrails; assessing hallucination, bias and drift; using prelaunch evaluations and postlaunch monitoring; and judging when AI is inappropriate. Experience with tools such as Claude Code, Claude Co-work, OpenAI Codex, Cursor and Visual Studio Code is preferred.
